So, ive been saving up for a new laptop for a couple years now, and I finally recieved enough money for an insane gaming laptop for around $1200... So I left for bestbuy on Friday to go get the new laptop, paid for it, and took it home. But when i took it home, i got nothing worth what i paid...

I opened up the box and I glanced at it and fell in love with it... But once i got it up and running there were alot of huge defects in the laptop...

1. I barely turned on the laptop, and you could see 2 HUGE dents in the screen, which affected most of the monitors performance, and made it look ugly

2. I got past the monitor part (unfixable), and i get on skype, and i start a text chat with my friend, and i soon find out after, that the period button on the laptop was completely useless and broken... I tried reinstalling it and resetting it but it never fixed itself (this made me want to take it back)

3. I try to overclock my laptop with their custom program on there, and it never worked, and it never did anything, i didn't even feel the laptop heat up at all..

4. There are 5 quick option buttons above the keyboard for custom programs, it took alot of force and energy just to barely use one of those buttons, but on my sisters laptop (same brand, but not type) it didn't take any energy to use those buttons..

5. The laptop had major issues when loading, and i mean, for a laptop with a 2.53ghz processor and 6GB DDR2 ram, it took a really long time for POST and startup loadup...

6. The laptop BIOS wasn't updated at all, when i clearly asked 2 of the Bestbuy guys (the one who worked in the computer department (who didn't know shit) and a guy from geeksquad) if the BIOS was updated, and they both said yes... Well i turn it on, and i realize through the graphics card fucking up during a game that the BIOS wasn't updated... So i had to manually install it <_<. (Great job bestbuy, selling laptops that are useless without a BIOS update)

7. All of the windows updates i had to install was fucking insane, i had to restart the laptop like 5-6 times just updating windows.. You would think a laptop taken back (and supposedly fixed) would have an updated windows. And it even comes with Windows 7 (after you pay for the shipping and shit)...

So after I experienced all of this shit, i go to bestbuy to take back the "defect" laptop, as any normal person would.. but there was a huge setback..

They didn't have any left in stock...........

They ran out of 1 laptop, when they clearly said they would have more the day I got it, and I had to wait atleast 3 days for the new one to reach my house... I was pissed but i looked on the bright side and waited until wednesday...

Wednesday finally came, and the laptop never came... So my mom called up bestbuy and for some reason they fucked up and said i had to wait another week for me to [b]recieve[/b] the damn laptop...

So now, ive spent 6 days waiting for a $1200 fucking laptop i bought. Does that make any fucking sense?

And for bestbuy's sake, the packaged laptop better not be damaged, or ill be more pissed than i am now <_<

Btw the laptop is an ASUS G71 laptop with the following specs:
2.53Ghz processor with 15% overclocking (2.9 - 3.0ghz overclocked)
6GB DDR2 RAM
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 260M graphics card with 1GB GDDR3 RAM dedicated
500GB SATA @ 5400RPM

Well, I called the bestbuy in boise this morning, and it turned out they had a copy of the laptop, so i immediately had them put it on hold (after 10 mins of being on hold) and we drove all of the way to boise to get it.. But once we got to boise, everything went to pieces again..

We go to customer service, and once we immediately tell them that they need to re-route the UPS package to our house, they took back the laptop and said they couldn't do it. They went on for like 20 minutes of just Bullshit lies about how UPS cant re-route packages... When they actually can

I soon told the manager that we got it at Nampa and before i could even continue, she just starting refusing to help us, and did everything to have nothing to deal with us. She made more BS lies about the Bestbuy at nampa and how they couldn't do anything... when they could.

So we stormed out of the store pissed, and my mom called the bestbuy in nampa for the manager there to ask them to re-route the UPS package to them (After being hung up on 3 times and was on hold for literally more than 20 mins).. We FINALLY got someone smart to talk to and actually wanted to help us, and he said that once they transfer the laptop to nampa (20 miles away), that i could finally have it and re-route the laptop UPS is sending.

(If they are actually going to do that)

I wouldn't know right now as i have to wait till 4 o'clock for them to supposedly bring the laptop to bestbuy in nampa.

Its funny how many bullshit lies you can recieve for one laptop in a day.. I mean all i want is the damn laptop, and its been a week now. Its just... extremely stupid.
